The The Last Elephant from the Winery Franschhoek Cellar is a cuvée made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Merlot.
Only the best grapes produced by the Winery each year were used for the The Last Elephant. The pleasant tannins create a complex yet smooth palate experience and a long-lasting finish.
The nose is impressive and shows aromas of black currant, juicy cherry, cedar wood, and cigar box. These aromas are complemented by raspberries and spices. On the palate, the wine is elegantly powerful.
The The Last Elephant tells the story of the elephants, which once roamed the mountains of the Winelands in Franschhoek.
He was aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
