The story of the [Antinori](/collections/villa-antinori) family and its connection to Chianti Classico began as early as 1385. The Antinori nel Winery, inaugurated in October 2012, is an example of the family’s deep historical roots in this area and its commitment to bringing tradition and innovation together. It is a place that reflects the past, present and future of the Antinori family. Chianti ClassicoFor the first time in 26 generations, a new winery was specifically designed to welcome wine lovers and introduce them to the Antinori philosophy. This philosophy is based on passion, patience and the continuous pursuit of the highest

quality . In 2022, the Antinori nel Winery was named thebest in the world Chianti Classico by over 500 leading wine and tourism experts, underscoring the extraordinary significance of this place. The winery’s architecture was designed by Marco Casamonti and is intended to respect its surroundings while providing optimal conditions for winemaking. The winery overlooks a landscape lined with vineyards, planted mainly with grape varieties typical of such as Sangiovese.
