The Z Collection Syrah 2024 from Zevenwacht Winery tells the story of a postman who travelled the 12 miles every day, come rain or shine, to deliver the mail. In this way, the Shyra connects with the Original Series by Old Road, which recalls the stories of the legendary characters of the Franschhoek community in their early years.
The nose offers inviting blackcurrant with aromatic notes of white pepper and coriander. On the palate, soft, velvety tannins combine with lingering mulberry fruit.
