The Rupert & Rothschild Vignerons are a renowned collaboration between two prestigious families, founded in 1997. Located in the famous South African wine region of Franschhoek , the winery is dedicated to creating elegant wines, often in the style of classic Bordeaux blends. The Winery "Rupert & Rothschild" places great importance on harmonising tradition and innovation to produce wines of exceptional quality and finesse.
The wines are known for their complex character and ageing potential. Particularly noteworthy are cuvées such as Classique and Baron Edmond, which typically combine grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc . The single-varietal Chardonnay is also very popular.
Since their founding, the Vignerons have established themselves as a leading presence in the South African wine scene and enjoy a high international reputation.
