Regna Loca Semillon 2024 reveals itself as a complex wine, with expressive notes of lemon zest, vibrant citrus aromas and subtle dried-fruit tones from Sémillon Gris. On the palate, it impresses with its creamy texture and precise structure, while lively acidity carries the flavours into a long, elegant finish. The 2024 vintage in Franschhoek benefited from a wet winter in 2023, which created ideal soil conditions, followed by warm, dry weather with targeted irrigation. Despite lower yields, the grapes achieved exceptional concentration and balance of acidity. Vinification used 100% whole clusters, fermented in amphorae and barrels, then aged for ten months—a process that brings together complexity and elegance.
