Rongopai

A tradition-rich Weingut Rongopai was founded in 1932 in New Zealand and moved in 2007 to the renowned Marlborough-region so that the wine production could be brought closer to its 100% sustainably certified vineyards. The grapes from Rongopai have long been valued for their unique characteristics, which today are considered typical of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir .

The wines from Rongopai reflect the expertise of a more than 90-year history and are known for their freshness and vibrancy. The name “Rongopai” means “good taste and good feeling” and is symbolized on the labels with the unfolding Koru design, representing creation and growth. The grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from South Africais particularly worth highlighting, for which the winery is known.

Rongopai proudly looks back on a history of more than nine decades as one of the oldest wine brands in New Zealand and is committed to sustainable farming in line with the Māori concept of Kaitiaki , the care of sky, sea, and land. This philosophy shapes every vintage of the sustainably produced, fresh and vibrant wines.
