The Boschendal Chenin Blanc 1685 is a dry white wine made exclusively from the Chenin Blanc grape. This grape variety, also known as Steen, is widespread in South Africa and produces wines with lively acidity and fruity aromas.

The Boschendal Chenin Blanc 1685 has a pale yellow colour in the glass. The nose reveals complex aromas of ripe fruits such as apricots, peaches and citrus fruits, accompanied by subtle floral notes and a hint of honey. On the palate, the wine shows lively acidity that harmonises beautifully with its fruity aromas. It is well balanced and has a pleasingly full mouthfeel.
