The Winery Hidden Valley, located on the western slopes of the Helderberg Mountains in Stellenbosch, South Africa, was given a new direction in 2012 by owner Dave Hidden . The winery focuses on sustainable viticulture and producing quality wines. The vineyards benefit from cool sea breezes and diverse soils, which provide ideal conditions.
These natural conditions make it possible to produce complex, expressive wines that reflect the unique terroir. Alongside its passion for winemaking, including varieties such as Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, Hidden Valley is also known for its olive oil production.
A distinctive feature of its quality assurance is the hand-harvesting of the grapes. With its commitment to sustainability and quality, the winery has already established an excellent reputation in the sought-after Stellenbosch wine region .
The Hidden Valley Hidden Secret is a distinctive Shiraz-based blend with aromas of cranberries, blackcurrants and white pepper on the nose. Lush fruit on the palate is complemented by burnt caramel on the finish.
Leather and spice make for a wonderfully rounded, complex wine. Firm
tannins and lively acidity provide balance and length.
