Barbera originates from Piedmont and is known for its juicy fruit and lively acidity. Typical aromas are red cherry, plum, violet, and a hint of spice. On the palate, Barbera is medium-bodied with low to moderate tannin structure, making it particularly inviting to drink. In stainless steel tanks, it shows clear freshness and precise fruit; with short barrel aging, fine notes of cedarwood, cocoa, and more depth are added.
