Kaapzicht Winery

The Kaapzicht Wine Estate in the Bottelary Hills, Stellenbosch, South Africa, was founded in 1712 and has been managed by the Steytler family since 1946. With a focus on Pinotage, the Winery has gained international recognition, especially for the Cuveé Steytler Vision. The Winery mainly produces red wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Shiraz, as well as white varieties like Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc. All grapes are grown on site and processed in the estate's own cellar, resulting in Estate Wines. The current Winemaker Danie Steytler is an established figure in the Stellenbosch District winemaking scene.
