In 1993, Ken Forrester and his wife Teresa took heart to rebuild the dilapidated Winery, which was established in 1689 by Frederick Boot in Stellenbosch. Extensive renovations were carried out both in the vineyards and on the rest of the Winery. Today it bears the name Ken Forrester and is known for its exquisite wines. Located in the middle of the picturesque Stellenbosch wine region, the first-class Winery Ken Forrester lies on the slopes of the Helderberg. The Winery Ken Forrester is considered by many to be the home of Chenin Blanc. Not without reason, wines like the FMC from Ken Forrester win renowned awards every year both domestically and abroad.
