Peter Falke Wines

Winery Peter Falke, located in Stellenbosch, South Africa, is a renowned boutique winery known for its elegant creations. The vineyards stretch into the foothills of the Helderberg mountains and benefit from a unique terroir and cool sea breezes, which allow the grapes to ripen optimally. The winery places great emphasis on sustainable viticulture and combines traditional methods with modern technology to produce wines of outstanding quality.

In particular, the Peter Falke Cabernet Sauvignon – the signature grape variety of the house – and the Sauvignon Blanc from South Africaimpressively reflect the potential of the wine region Stellenbosch . The Cabernet Sauvignon from South Africa symbolizes the expertise and passion with which Peter Falke creates its wines.

Apart from these classics, other grape varieties such as Chardonnay from South Africa and Cabernet Franc from South Africa are also part of the portfolio. Peter Falke Wines is known not only for its wines, but also for its impressive architecture and art exhibitions, which make the winery a cultural attraction.

From the grapes of the Syrah or Shiraz variety, two different styles emerge depending on the origin of the wine and the development in the Winery. These differ significantly from each other in both smell and taste.

The Shiraz wines have a very strong and fruit-forward taste with aromas of cherries and plums. Additionally, aromas of dark Chocolate are typical for Shiraz wines.

The Syrah wines have a rather slim and elegant character in comparison. Additionally, Syrah wines are characterized by a spicy taste. Syrah wines also often exhibit subtle wood notes and typical aromas such as cloves, cinnamon, pepper, forest floor, or leather.

Both wine styles are characterized by a complex aroma and a racy character.
