Winery Vergelegen

The Winery Vergelegen is a renowned Winery in South Africa and is one of the best-known and oldest Wineries in the Stellenbosch region. It is located about 40 kilometers east of Cape Town and stretches over a picturesque landscape with gentle hills and lush vineyards. The history of Vergelegen dates back to the 17th century when it was founded by Dutch settlers. The vineyards are mainly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, and Chardonnay, and the Winemakers of Vergelegen produce a variety of award-winning wines characterized by their elegance, complexity, and balance.
