About Us
WHO ARE WE?
The idea for The WineStore was born during a trip to South Africa in the semester break of our studies.
We (Max & Moritz) acquired a taste – for South African wine and the delightful lifestyle of this region. And so we asked ourselves, why does it have to be so difficult to get Chenin Blancs, Pinotages, or Sauvignons from the southern tip of Africa onto our wine shelves and into our glasses back home in Munich? This very wine-crazy idea and a rather targeted thirst were the beginning and incentive for Max and Moritz's first own prank – to found an online wine shop specialized entirely in South Africa, named The WineStore.
