Tasting Note

The Reserve Renegade from Ken Forrester is an impressive Rhône blend with structured depth and a velvety finish. This complex mix of Shiraz, Grenache and Mourvèdre combines South African fruit with classic elegance.

The nose reveals concentrated aromas of wild red berries, complemented by spicy, peppery notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and liquorice. The rounded palate has a subtle note of salty black olives and delicate smokiness.

The grapes are hand-picked and gently fermented in open tanks. The wine is then aged for approximately 18 months in French barriques (second and third use), giving it its dense structure and elegant balance.
